Welcome to ProgressiveIslam.Org's Human Rights Project Website. The Human Rights Project is a wiki devoted to documenting human rights and humanist issues as they relate to, affect, and involve the Muslim community world-wide. Which means that we cover some of the most fundamental issues of our day from the vantage point of Muslims as victims, protagonists, or just plain engaged and involved citizens.

Currently Active:

  • AIDS: A new page collecting information about AIDS has started. We've tried to provide a framework for developing a resource about AIDS and the Muslim world. Please check it out and send input, both about content and what shape the page should take.
  • Ayah Pin: A summary of the Ayah Pin religious sect and the issues surrounding it is now available.
  • Countries: A comprehensive listing of all the countries for which there are articles/resources is now available under the Category:Countries
  • News: The News Section is up and running. We will be setting up a form for submissions shortly.
